An Awareness program on Banking Services Examination was organised by Placement Cell Jagannath Barooah University on 30th April 2026 . The program was inaugurated by Academic Registrar Dr Surajit Sarmah. In his inaugural speech he said that such program will help the students in getting jobs in the banking sector which is a very good career option for the students. The resource person Mr Jagadish Paul , Manager State Bank of India gave a detailed presentation about the career in Banking Services and how they should prepare for the banking services examination and also  motivated the students for joining the banking sector. Mr Abhilash  Kashyap Chetia , Manager and Ujjal Borah , Manager also shared their experiences in the banking sector. The  coordinator of Placement Cell, Dr Ashrafuzzaman Chowdhury gave the vote of thanks. The program was attended by around 80 students.
