On the occasion of the birthday of our esteemed student, late Ranjan Sarmah, the students of the Department of Sociology, Jagannath Barooah University, successfully organized the Ranjan Sarmah Memorial Drive at the Children’s Ashram 'Nirashroy' situated at Malowali, Jorhat. The students of the department offered sweets and gifts to the children as a tribute to his memory, reflecting the values of compassion and social responsibility that he embodied.
