The MoU Signing Ceremony and Certificate Distribution Programme was organized by the Department of Political Science and the Department of Sociology on 29th March 2025. The event aimed to formalize the collaboration between J.B. College (Autonomous) and the Farm2Food Foundation, Jorhat, while also recognizing the achievements of participants who successfully completed their respective Community Engagement Programmes.

The programme was hosted by Mr. Madhujya Handique, faculty member of the Department of Sociology. The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Utpal Jyoti Mahanta, who emphasized the importance of the MoU and its potential to enhance academic and research collaborations. Mr. Subhasish Sharmah, Head of the Department of Political Science, presented a concise summary of the meeting’s key points in his address.

 Mr. Deepjyoti Sonu, Director of the Farm2Food Foundation, shared the foundation’s vision and elaborated on future plans for collaboration. He also highlighted how this partnership could significantly contribute to the career development of students through practical engagement and experiential learning opportunities.
