A field trip to Kolkata and Digha, West Bengal, was conducted from January 4-11, 2024, for the CBCS course ZOOS-401: Aquarium Fishkeeping. The visit was led by faculty members Rupamoni Das Hazarika, Head and Associate Professor, Dr. Dhiramani Bhuyan, Associate Professor; and Dr. Rashmi Rekha Saikia, Assistant Professor, from the Department of Zoology, J. B. College (Autonomous), Jorhat, Assam. The primary objective of the field trip was to identify aquarium/ornamental fish for the submission of a field study report, as prescribed in the syllabus.
